Some thoughts from the Nashville meet-up: Set up a burner gmail account, ask everyone to let you know via email who is coming, real name and Kinja name, etc. (see below). Also, name tags went a long way for socialization (Real first name above smaller Kinja name).
Name:
Oppo Handle:
Vehicle:
Preferred Method of Communication(i.e. Whatsapp, Discord, Slack, Group Text):
Will you have someone else with you?
Their name:
Misc. Info We Should Know:
And for coordination on site, radios were great (brought by autocrossers who borrowed them from their club). I would assume that more powerful ones would be needed in the mountains, though, so I’m not sure what would be best. I know that I lost track of my buddies for a few hours after I went to get gas last time I was there . . . no cell coverage.
Anyway, if you need any assistance, let me know at car2014email at gmail dot com (burner account).
